Designing splashes, sprays and collisions.
For Grand Lait, in France we designed splashes that can be morphed into images that we would first film “live”. Director Raf Wathion contacted us to test and produce these “temporary sculptures” made using splashes of milk. These forms exist only for a few moments and require the use of the “Phantom” high-speed camera.
For related work involving forms made from milk take a look at these cheese commercials made in Milan for Italian company Vallelata.
For this commercial we were asked to make a crown of milk… the classic drop effect, as well as a white dove, a ballet dancer and a cala lilly. For the tag-on we made lilies of the valley.
