This commercial by Stef Viaene, was shot in Prague for Paris production company Bandits Productions. It was a great follow up to the third Duvel commercial, working with liquids and foam in both clips.
On the left is a link to a clip shot from the monitor of foam taken during the “shoot”.

Water spray and high-speed move
Shooting close, and in high speed we had to time the impact of the splashes to the millisecond. The amount of splash was precisely controlled in order to maintain legibility of the label.
The pack glides through a symmetrical splash requiring very fast taps and accurate timing.
High-speed revolving rig
For one of the splashes we were required to splash the bottle at a specific position in the high-speed revolution
Using an optical encoder to time our splash.
Foam explosions and tests
During testing we exploded foam on it’s own; foam and liquid in separate layers; liquid only and several other variations to do with loading the foam itself.
A shock wave suitable for painting into the finished pack-shot …
We kept the pressure low so as to prevent the water film from breaking up.
